Madelinetosh yarns are here!!! We have finally received the Madelinetosh yarns - Pashmina, a sport weight merino/silk/cashmere blend, Posh Sock, 26-30 sts/4 inch, superwash wool, and Prairie, 100% superwash merino wool lace weight. Supplies are somewhat limited so hurry in before they disappear.

Madelinetosh Yarns Coming to Knit Happens
Look Out! All you Madelinetosh junkies out there - we are expecting a shipment of these beautiful hand dyed yarns to come in any day now. Keep an eye on the blog and we will post when they arrive.
Many of our winter visitors have left for the summer but we want to remind all of you that you can always order yarn from us and we will be happy to ship anywhere in the country. SUMMER CLASSES COMING SOON
Our summer class schedule begins May 1, 2010. Some classes are already full so sign up early to reserve your spot.
Starting Tuesday, May 11 we are offering our Sock Knit Along. We will be knitting a different sock for each month, or, you can do one or two for the entire summer. The socks we will be doing will be a Pedicure Sock in May, a Yoga Sock in June, a Crew sock in July and a full sock called "Outside In" in August. The cost is $50 for a kit which includes a pattern and yarn. The dates for the Knit Along are Tuesdays, May 11, 18, June 15, 29, July 6, 20 and August 3, 17 all from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Come and join us.

ERROR IN LAST BLOG
Hi everyone - you know when you are trying to be a good employee and help out the boss and, well, KNIT HAPPENS? Well, my list of yarns on sale included a yarn that is NOT on sale and I was a bit unclear about the Universal yarn that IS on sale. So to be clear, ONLY the Universal LP Worsted and Chunky in the back of the store are on sale. Non of the Universal yarns in the front of the store are on sale. Also, Tahki Tweedy Alpaca is not on sale. Sorry for any inconvenience! There are still plenty of yarns on sale at the back of the store, so please come in before the 50% off sale ends on Saturday and, if it makes you feel better, you can give me a hard time!

Sale Continues This Week
Hope everyone had a great Easter! CJ decided to continue the sale on the yarns in the "back" at 50% off for this week - April 5 - 10.
